Mixed feelings about the stay

the hotel is conveniently located near subway systems, making it easy to get to reservations on time.
I found the mattresses really uncomfortable, as they had heavy depressions. I had to strip the bed and rotate the mattress to find a moderately comfortable spot.

the location was excellent. subway access and many restaurants are very close.
the air conditioning was not working properly. it turned on randomly, even after being switched off, frustrating.

the room size really bothered me. it felt smaller than advertised (and i'm not usually picky!). there was barely space to move around, and storing luggage was a real challenge. also, the promised city view was partially obstructed, disappointing.

the room's design was strange. the shower lacked a proper door, so water splashed everywhere and made the floor dangerously slippery. also, there was a bizarre bonfire smell at 7 am each morning. i have no idea where it came from
